I am the Commercial Director at Sustainable Smart Technologies, bringing over 30 years of expertise in sensor technologies, IT security and semiconductors. That experience includes a strong tenure at Hewlett Packard.
In 2017, I founded IoT Horizon, a company specialising in sensor and IoT technologies. The business was acquired by Sustainable Investments in 2024. Before that, I held a number of technical, sales and managerial roles, which built on my degree in Business Studies and a Master’s in IT for Manufacturing.
I try to combine deep technical knowledge with a strategic outlook, and I am passionate about innovation and collaboration. I am always very keen to foster high-performing teams, and I recognise that skills development is absolutely central to this. That’s one of the reasons why I’m so pleased to be part of the wider Group; Sustainable Investments is wholly committed to developing the potential of all its people. It puts a big emphasis on training and personal progression.
More generally, my role includes shaping commercial partnerships, engaging effectively with our various stakeholders, identifying new opportunities in emerging markets, and ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of clients across sectors such as manufacturing, property, and public services. This is all part of a team effort to support the company’s continuing success.
