I joined the Permarock business in early 1988 (time flies!) working in the warehouse and production department. Since then, I have had the opportunity to progress my role and responsibilities on a number of occasions, culminating in being invited to join the Board Of Directors.
My roles within the organisation have allowed me to accumulate a very broad level of knowledge and insight both operationally and technically across many aspects of the business. Key areas where I have spent time have included Technical Services, Operations and Sales.
I still work very closely with all the departments across the Permarock business and of course with colleagues around the wider Sustainable Investments group of companies.
It has been, and still is, a privilege to work with such a fantastic group of people, and also to meet with the many customers and clients at all levels in the industry that we provide products and services for. I have certainly appreciated being given such a fantastic series of opportunities to progress, rising from the humblest of initial roles to a senior level within the company.
