Our Vision and Culture
Our Vision
- Delivering at scale is key across the business but it doesn’t change how we operate – our principles always remain at the core of what we do and how we do it.
- We seek to provide every household with a financially viable solution to decarbonise their home.
- We drive social change through area-based residential decarbonisation – regardless of tenure.
- In everything we do, we aim to tackle the five main crises of modern times – the cost of living, energy security, climate, housing and health.
- We make private finance options accessible wherever necessary to work alongside government policies and public funding. In this way, we make it possible to decarbonise whole communities.
- Our vision is to change the face of construction.
- We are achieving this vision through innovation.
Fastest 50 North West
Each year, the Ward Hadaway North West Fastest 50 Awards celebrate the region’s most rapidly growing businesses, based on an objective examination of turnover and profitability. In 2017, SBS appeared in the listing for the first time. Sustainable Investments Limited went on to secure further listings in three successive years: in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
However, we don’t pursue commercial growth only for its own sake. At the heart of our work is a mission to decarbonise residential housing at scale; to deliver high-quality retrofit works that address fuel poverty, improve health outcomes and enhance living conditions.
As a company, we work closely with government bodies, local authorities, registered social housing providers, private landlords and households to support their low and net-zero carbon ambitions. By doing so, we ensure that our projects contribute significantly to the broader goals of environmental sustainability and social wellbeing. We invest in the areas in which we work.
